We are now searching for a talented  Director to assume a leadership role within the UK & Ireland Consulting team. We are seeking a commercially experienced individual with a working knowledge of client-side infrastructure sector to continue growth by enhancing client relationships, leading business development and shaping the business strategy.

The role will specifically concentrate on the continued development of the practice in Scotland and Northern England and support the delivery within established and new clients in the utility, energy and transport sectors. This exciting opportunity is seeking a leader who can take full accountability for generating and building client accounts, develop long term client relationships and manage successful, profitable engagements. This role combines ambitious business development activity with dynamic ‘on the ground’ client delivery work allowing you to be immersed in the teams you work with.

The primary focus of the Director will be to engage with and support clients through a programme of work that delivers real and tangible change to their organisation. You will act as a strategic and advisory lead to our client base and an operational delivery lead to the OutForm team across client work streams.

  • You will lead a team and collaborate with key OutForm clients to develop and implement OutForm solutions tailored to their unique business needs
  • You will be a member of the Senior Leadership team at OutForm with responsibility for proposition delivery and growth enabling projects
  • You will ensure quality of work delivered and lead and develop a high performing team and guide them through the project lifecycle.
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to set expectations and manage relationships effectively.
  • You will manage resources, budgets and timelines in relation to client projects.
  • You will understand how to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities within existing accounts and developing proposals, you will collaborate with the wider OutForm Leadership team to continue to develop new clients in Scotland and Northern England region that align with our strategic growth goals

What is required:

  • 10 years plus of experience in Senior Consultancy Leadership with a proven track record of delivery of /into client-side infrastructure accounts
  • Bringing a blend of industry and consulting experience with at least 5 years proven consulting experience in a recognised large/medium size consulting business in Ireland or the UK
  • Experience in one of our target sectors (Energy, Utilities or Transport) and a strong track record of relationships within the sector
  • Knowledge of business operations, financial management and strategic planning along with a strong commercial acumen
  • Experience of major programme delivery including scope and delivery large scale transformation programmes by helping to design the approach and bring together winning teams with the right capability
  • Strong track record of supporting business development and the commercial process involved in extending and expanding client engagements
  • Strong Leadership experience providing direct management with proven sustained success
